Grilled Halibut with Basil-garlic Butter

6 Halibut steaks, 1-inch thick
2 tb Olive oil
Prepare Basil-Garlic Butter and set aside.
Rinse fish steaks (1 1/2 to 2 lbs. total), and pat dry; brush both sides of each steak with olive oil. Place fish on a well-greased grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of hot coals. Cook, turning once with a wide metal spatula, until fish flakes when prodded in thickest part (8-10 minutes).
Using spatula, transfer fish to a warm platter. Top each piece of hot fish with about 1/6 of the Basil-Garlic Butter. Makes 6 servings.
