Souffle Sardine Canapes
1 cn Boneless, skinless sardines; crush with a fork
1 tb Mayonnaise
1/2 ts Sharp mustard
1/2 ts Onion; grate
1 Egg white; beat stiff
Toast or Melba toast
Preheat the oven to 400~. Mix the sardines thoroughly with mayonnaise, mustard and onion. Fold in the egg white and spread on 8 thin slices of toast or packaged Melba toast, or on 16 small Melba toast rounds. Place on a baking sheet and bake 8 minutes. Serve immediately.
