Baked Fish Smothered With Goodies
2 lb. Fillet, Haddock, Halibut or Flounder
1/4 cup oil
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. parsley
Melted butter or margarine
2 medium onions, cut up
12 mushrooms, sliced
1 cup slivered almonds
Put fish in baking dish with oil. Allow to soak for 20 minutes. Remove fish. Put bread crumbs, paprika, parsley and lemon juice in dish with oil and mix well. Return fish to baking dish and cover with bread crumb mixture. Bake at 325 F for 35 to 40 minutes until done, basting occasionally with melted butter or margarine. While baking, saute onions, mushrooms and almonds. Smother on top of fish when ready to serve.
