Tapenade

1 c Imported black olives
8 Anchovy fillets
1/4 c Capers
1 1/2 tb Minced garlic
1/2 c Olive oil
Freshly-ground black pepper; to taste

In a food processor with a metal blade, combine all the ingredients together, except for the oil. Pulse a couple of times to incorporate. With the machine running, slowly add the oil to form a paste. Season to taste with black pepper.
