2 Halibut Steaks, 1" - 1 1/2"
3 shredded carrots
1 thinly sliced onion
1 cup dry white wine
Marinate fish in 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/4 cup wine for 15 minutes.
Put carrots and onions in bottom of baking dish seasoning to taste. Lay fish on top; drizzle with lemon juice. Spread mayonnaise over top of fish and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350 F until bread crumbs are brown and fish flakes, about 20 minutes. Serve with tartar sauce.
