Saucy Halibut Steaks
4 Halibut Steaks
1 egg, beaten
1 can condensed cream of celery soup
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Place Halibut Steaks in an 11" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/2" baking dish.
In saucepan combine egg, soup, milk and half the cheese. Stir over low heat until cheese is melted and the mixture is hot. Pour over the fish.
Toss the bread crumbs with butter and remaining cheese. Sprinkle atop Steaks.
Bake at 375 F for 20 to 25 minutes or until the fish flakes when tested with a fork.
