Baked Tasty Halibut

2 pounds halibut - cut in large cubes
2 cans marinated artichokes - drained
2 cans button mushrooms - drained
1 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
3 cups milk
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
8 ounces cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon hot sauce


Place the halibut in baking dish. Add the artichokes and mushrooms. Set aside. Melt the butter. Add the flour and gradually stir in milk and wine. Add salt, hot sauce and cheese. Stir until cheese melts and sauce is thick. Pour over fish in baking dish and bake at 350, uncovered for approximately 50 minutes.
