Curried Halibut With Toasted Peaches

1 lb. Halibut Steaks
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. grated onion
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 peach halves
Grated cheese
Bread crumbs


Mix 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, 1/2 teaspoon grated onion, and 3 tablespoons butter together. Spread part of the mixture on Halibut Steaks and broil about 10 minutes. Season with salt; turn and spread with rest of curry butter and finish broiling. Drain peach halves and sprinkle with dry sifted bread crumbs and grated cheese mixed (use equal portions). Broil along with fish after fish has been turned.
