Fish With Mushrooms and Tomatoes

2 lb. Sole, Flounder, Scrod, or Whitefish
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, drained and chopped
4 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Arrange fish Fillets in a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Season with salt, white pepper and garlic powder. Toss mushrooms with lemon juice, arrange over fish. Add onions and tomatoes. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes. In a separate bowl combine melted butter, bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, sprinkle over fish. Broil fish until brown, about 10 minutes.
