Grilled Fish Steaks

2 fish Steaks, about 1" thick (Halibut, Swordfish, Tuna)
1 large garlic clove, minced
6 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped


Combine all ingredients except fish Steaks. Place Steaks in a shallow glass dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Marinade the Steaks for an hour, turning 3 to 4 times. Grill 4 inches from heat source, basting occasionally. Approximate cooking time is 10 minutes per inch of thickness of fish (5 minutes per side). When fish flakes, it is done. Can be doubled.
