Haddock Pie

1 large Haddock, you can use frozen
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 bay leaf
1 medium onion, sliced
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 cup dry wine


Make one pie crust. 9 inches.


In large skillet combine fish, wine, salt, pepper, bay leaf, onion, and 1 1/2 cups water. Cook covered over low heat. Preheat oven to 350 F.


Drain fish, reserve 2/3 cup of liquid and onion, flake fish. Slowly melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat, slowly stir in flour. Gradually add cooking liquid. Bring to boil. Stir constantly, reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. Remove form heat, stir in fish, onion, sour cream. Spoon 50-55 minutes or until crust edge is golden.
