Smoked Cod's Roe Paste

225 g Smoked cod roe; (8oz)
225 g Unsalted butter; or more (8oz)


Slit the cod's roe in half and in a processor, having discarded the skin, blend the soft inside with the butter until well mixed. Serve with chopped hard boiled egg, parsely and red onion and lots of toast or spread on rounds of toast as an appetizer.
