Herrings with Beet for Sandwiches

1 lg Beet
1/2 lb Herring fillets (pickled)
1/2 c To 1 cup cream (used as need)
Salt and pepper
Bread in slices for to make The sandwiches

Cook the beet in boiling water and when is soft cut in small cubes, also cut the herring fillets in little pieces, mix with cream as needed and add salt and pepper. Fill the bread, add more cream if the bread is dry.
