Halibut Alyeska

2 lb. Halibut (or other White Fish)
1 small onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. butter

Melt butter in baking dish. Sprinkle onions in bottom of pan. Cut Halibut in 1/4 inch strips. Put mayonnaise in bowl. Coat fish generously with mayonnaise and lay fish in baking dish snugly next to each other, as if it were a puzzle. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and paprika and bake at 500 F for 10-15 minutes.
