1 lb. frozen Halibut chunks
1 gallon water
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup salt (adjust to your taste)
Melted butter or margarine
Place water in saucepan. Add salt and sugar. Bring to boil. Drop Halibut into water. Return to boil. Halibut should initially sink to bottom. When the Halibut chunks are done, they will float to the top. May need to cook longer if packed in ice. Serve with melted butter, sour dough French bread and whatever you like.
