Broiled Alaskan Halibut
1/2 cup soy sauce
5 Tbsp. sherry
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. honey
4 Halibut Steaks, 6-7 oz. each
Lemon wedges and parsley (optional)
Combine first 5 ingredients. Marinate Halibut Steaks in this mixture for 1 hour (turn Steaks over after 30 minutes). Remove from marinade and drain. Place Steaks on broiler pan and broil 4 inches below heating element. Broil for 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily. Serve with lemon and parsley.
