Halibut Gourmet Style

2 lbs. frozen Halibut Steaks, thawed
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup sherry wine
Paprika to taste

Place Halibut Steaks in buttered shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 425 F for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan and saute mushrooms until golden brown. Remove from heat and add sour cream and wine. Pour sauce over Halibut and sprinkle with paprika. Return to oven and bake at 375 F for 10 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
