Halibut In Red Sauce

2 to 4 Halibut Steaks
1 can Italian crushed tomatoes
3 or 4 cloves garlic, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. grating cheese (Locatelli, Romano, etc.)
1 tsp. Mazola oil

Sauce: In a large bowl, mix tomatoes, garlic, grating cheese, oil and salt and pepper.

Next, cover bottom of a shallow pan with 1/2 of the sauce mixture. Then place under broiler for about 10 minutes to heat sauce. Remove pan from broiler and lay fish in it. Cook under broiler until fish flakes, about 15 minutes. Then add remainder of sauce on top of fish and cook about 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from pan. Cover with sauce and serve.
