Catfish Chowder

2 lbs. ready to cook catfish
2 tsp. salt
2 c. potatoes, sliced
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. pepper
2 c. catsup

Place catfish, onion, salt and pepper in a pot covered with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until meat flakes easily with a fork. Remove fish, cool and strip meat from bones. Return meat to pot. Add remaining ingredients to pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until potatoes are cooked.
