Halibut Crab Chowder

1 1/2 lbs. halibut
1/2 lb. crab meat OR 1 (8 oz.) frozen crab meat
5 slices of bacon, diced
3/4 c. sweet onion, chopped
1/3 c. potatoes, diced
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
8 oz. corn
2 c. Half and Half
2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. butter

Cut halibut into chunks, discard skin and bones. Drain crab, separate into chunks. Saute bacon, onion, green pepper in large heavy saucepan. Add potatoes, water and seasonings. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until potatoes are mostly tender. Add halibut, cover and simmer 6-8 minutes. Add corn, crab, Half and Half and milk. Heat gently, combine butter and flour and add to chowder. Cook, stirring constantly until chowder has thickened slightly.
